Bear Cast’s Wild Bingo Night

Ayo Edebiri turned the 2026 Golden Globes into a playful game night with her Bear co-stars.

At a Glance

  • Edebiri and castmates played custom Bingo during the Jan. 11 ceremony
  • Cards featured cheeky squares about Leonardo DiCaprio jokes and Jacob Elordi’s height
  • The actress wore an off-the-shoulder black Matthieu Blazy gown
  • She lost the Best Female Actor – Musical/Comedy award to Hacks star Jean Smart

The 30-year-old documented the fun on Instagram, posting snapshots from the Beverly Hilton tables where five completed Bingo cards lay side by side. Jeremy Allen White marked a square labeled “Leonardo DiCaprio dating joke,” a nod to host Nikki Glaser’s jab at the One Battle After Another actor’s dating history. Lionel Boyce checked off “Jacob Elordi is tall” and “Movie industry’s dying joke,” capturing the night’s running gags.

Edebiri, nominated for her role as Sydney Adamu in the FX hit, ultimately watched Jean Smart claim the trophy. Still, she closed the evening on a sweet note: a towering stack of late-night buttermilk pancakes. “Globes CONFIRMED to be Golden….!!!!” she captioned the carousel.

The actress has long called the Bear ensemble family, telling The Times in 2024, “It really feels like a family endeavour.” On Jan. 11, that camaraderie played out in Bingo daubs and shared laughter instead of awards hardware.

Timothée Chalamet, Rose Byrne, Teyana Taylor and Owen Cooper took home trophies during the 83rd annual ceremony, while fashion standouts included Jennifer Lopez and host Nikki Glaser.
