Dallas’ Latino Cultural Center will host the 2025 Virgen de Guadalupe Art Exhibition from December 6, 2025, to January 16, 2026. Curator José Vargas has assembled more than 70 artists whose pieces-paintings, sculptures, and mixed media-reimagine or pay tribute to the beloved dark-skinned Madonna.

Carlos Rovelo, professor of Mexican Art Studies and Art History at Dallas College, will deliver a lecture on December 11 exploring the cultural iconography of La Virgen de Guadalupe. Rovelo has researched her impact for more than 20 years, tracking how artists continually reinterpret her image while preserving her symbolic power.
